A great plot with some likeable, some dislikeable characters! Aiden has always felt the need to compete with his father, since his mother died when he was young. When his father marries a much younger woman, Aiden resolves to dislike her. However when he meets Eve, he falls in love with her even though he is with his own girlfriend, Sophia. I like the way characters change throughout the book to deliver a totally unexpected ending!

Aiden was not pleased when his Father told him of his new wife but he didn’t bargain on an instant attraction to his new step Mother. Life takes on a new journey and events spiral for this new family. You have to keep turning pages to find out the consequences. Another great novel from this Author

Aiden has never forgiven his father Dominic for leaving the family home when he was just nine years old. A consequence that led to his mother committing suicide.
Now twenty years later Aiden is in a steady relationship with Sophia an exceptionally beautiful ex model, but he will not commit to marrying her and it puts a strain on their relationship. Aiden doesn’t work and he lives of a very substantial allowance that his father gives him.
When Dominic goes to visit friends in Italy for a few weeks, Aiden feels relieved at first as he isn’t under the watchful eye of his father.
But when Dominic announced that he will be staying much longer than expected Aiden voices his concerns to Sophia as its extremely out of character.
Several weeks later his father gets in contact to say that he has fallen in love and has gotten married to a woman called Eve.
Aiden is furious and believes that Eve is just after his fathers cast wealth.
But on meeting Eve Aiden falls for this dark haired beautiful woman. There is something about Eve that just draws you in,even Sophia thinks she’s wonderful. But twenty years his fathers junior Aiden believes that Eve should be with him.
Whilst they all holiday in Italy things start to unravel and especially with Aiden and Sophia’s relationship.
Is Eve all she seems or is she hiding some deep dark secret?

Aiden and his father’s relationship was not great, but when Dominic, his father goes to Italy on holiday and gets married, their relationship rapidly changes. Great story with interesting hidden agendas and totally unexpected twist at the end.
