   My 8-year-old daughter has enjoyed reading these this summer. She’s not a massively keen reader so it’s good to see her enjoying a book and laughing. The language can be a bit tricky, (e.g. she asked me what conscience and empathise meant today) but she is able understand the story and it also means she’s learning when she bothers to check what a word means!

   My son is a reluctant reader but these are brilliant for him. Funny, easy to read and understand and a great mixture of illustrations and text.
