A very good selection of classic Victorian ghost stories, including authors such as Dickens, MR James and Mrs Gaskell. This a high quality hardback edition, produced to exceptional standards of paper, binding and printing, which is enhanced by illuminating illustrations both on the cover and with the stories. Would make excellent gift.

Cover is really nice. Not had chance to read it as yet but can’t wait to get stuck in. Glanced through and expect it to be one of those books you can’t put down once you start.

A beautifully illustrated collection of well-known Victorian ghost stories, each very atmospheric, though none likely unknown to fans of the genre. For some, an excellent place to begin; for those more familiar, a reminder of the quality of 19th century gothic literature.
