This is the first time reading this author and wasn’t disappointed.
Really good storey line that grabs your attention and keeps you guessing right to the end.
I’ll definitely read more from this author.

Gripping stuff as usual. Still have to keep in mind the characters, so much going on but that’s what makes these books so good.

Nick & his team go looking for Saddam’s gold doors which were made for him in a closed workshop & overgrown where nobody else knew they were there. They were worth a fortune melted down. They would be rich behind belief . But if course nothing goes to plan & they were betrayed. This is where the story takes off. A very good read.

Pacy, punchy, Nick Stone rides again – once more with a totally compulsive plot and characters, and seat-of-your-pants suspense from the first page to the last. Exit Wound is more than a thumping good read – it’s a pulverizing assault on your senses and nerves!
All the McNab hallmarks are here on parade: dark humour, graphic description, and dialogue as sharp as razor-wire.
For the umpteenth time since Remote Control, I found myself propelled through a Nick Stone adventure in only a couple of sittings, always promising myself I would stop for a brew when the chapter I was reading ended, and finding myself breaking the promise again and again. You get so sucked into the whirlpool you feel you’re being pushed and pulled round the streets of Dubai, Tehran and Moscow (hope that doesn’t give too much away) until you’re finally spat out on the last page.
Stupendous writing. McNab – you’ve done it again, mate!!

The previous McNabb book “Brute Force” didn’t really do it for me – it seemed very formuliac, a bit lazy and perhaps “tired”. Exit Wound makes up for this – it’s got a good plot, an exciting opening section with a bit of history, and some nice believeable characters.
Nick Stone is working again for the Intelligence services – I think the character works better when he’s actually given an assignment rather than just wandering into some trouble through helping mates.
So far so good – however the ending is a little silly and doesn’t quite make sense (at least to me). However, all in all “not bad” but not nearly as good as the earlier Nick Stone books.

Not up to Mr McNabs usual standard. Unbelievable twists which make no sense and have an awkward effect on the storyline.

Read this book over two nights, love Andy’s books, highly recommend all his books, grabs your attention right away. hard to put down.
