Some very funny and interesting experiences Dom has while exploring some conspiracy theories ranging from the most popular to some really ridiculous ones, and the characters he meets along the way that seem to truly believe in them! There’s some right ‘fruit bats’ out there!

If you’re interested in conspiracy theories and the people who preach them – you must read this! Highly entertaining, seriously interesting, beautifully written and has left my google search history peppered with all sorts of odd things because as Dom himself says in the book, once you start looking into conspiracy theories – you’re left with more questions than answers! A comical journalistic insight into the weird and wonderful.

A chapter in and giggles galore! Does Finland exist? Well find out….! A deeper insight into the minds of conspiracy theorists and their worth! We all begin alternative viewpoints and perceptions of our worlds through social commentary and opinion, and whilst govts perpetually lie about basic political stuff, we can expect incontestible half-truths from them, engaging our truisms in our own light and timelines. However, with cognitive dissonance a true DSM-V diagnosis, we shall always, whilst the sun sets and rises, meet incontestible idiots!….so brazen with their ideation that we must remain as subjective as ever. These fools actually embed our fabric with treacherous energies for Her social commentary!
I shall review again once completed, but I strongly recommend you buy this book and join in the party, and, well, make your own mind up.

Very interesting read, Dom gets you questioning everything,couldn’t put this book down….Simply wonderful!

You can hear Dom’s voice in every page, the conversations are the parts I found the funniest and weirdly, this made me want to to visit Denver International Airport and get an Uber just to see it for myself.
The musical references, the food descriptions, the museum refunds and a possibly Newfie/Newfoundlian(?) flat earth gentleman trashing the Airbnb were the stand outs for me.
I have plenty to Google after this.

Dom has a real knack in keeping you engaged in his writing. Mid way through this book now and it’s not only funny but genuinely is very difficult to put down.
I’ve read and reread all of Dom Joly’s work now and have to say after the first Dark Tourist I’ve been hooked. He travels to and submerged himself into some incredible adventures and shows you what total madness surrounds us.
