The first Insanity of Gambling book was very illuminating, showing as it did the damage a gambling addiction can do, not only to the gambler but to the those around them.

It was a frank, wise, brutally honest book, and this second volume is ever more so, as Raddings goes further into his life and the many misadventures gambling created.

I loved the first book, and am happy to say that this new follow-up is even better: it’s funny, fast, and takes the reader on another journey, as gambling maintains an iron grip on him.

Once again, the cautionary tale is offset with some brilliantly observed humour as Raddings relentlessly avoids feeling sorry for himself, instead shining a harsh light at himself and his behaviour.

Raddings meets some very colourful characters and their stories are interwoven with more autobiography as he opens the lid on the often painful life he led.

A must read for anyone who is in the thrall of a gambling addiction: this book will, hopefully, help you see the light.

Really enjoyed reading this relatable book. Glad the author has finally given up gambling and got himself out of debt and into a happy relationship. Fingers crossed for choc ice John – hopefully he’ll get there too eventually ????

This was free with Prime – I dislike gambling & all the adverts for it we see on TV. If anyone gambles, knows anyone who does or is even thinking about it, then buy this book – The title says it all. Written in a way that keeps you interested
