I purchased this book yesterday and it came today, I looked through it and I cannot wait to read. Thank you Ms Jane Bottomley and Mr Steven Pryjmachuk for writing this book you are helping me and everyone else to a wonderful career and I appreciated it.
The packaging was secure and I highly recommend.

A useful and detailed guide to developing your academic writing skills..

Samples of students’ work and published work are used throughout, and it’s particularly pleasing to see examples from mental health nursing well-represented and which others will find interesting.

Sometimes the same samples are used to illustrate different points, which is effective – the reader has already started a critical analysis of these passages.

There are exercises for the reader to do – worth doing just to make sure you understand the points being made.

It’s unfortunate that the printed version doesn’t follow its own advice about presenting a readable copy. Maybe the publishers were keen to make a compact book.

The print is very small and the font changes in ways that might make it difficult to follow for some readers. I passed this around some students today and this was a general observation. Maybe the ebook versions will be easier on the eye.

There is much helpful and experienced advice here and I would strongly recommend having a look and working with it. The small format and print might not be an issue for some, but takes a star off my review.
