I love this series, it just gets better and better and it goes along. Lilith finds a were cat who moves in, discovers her dad does know she is dead and has to deal with the Liverpool city itself having a fit. She is coming in to her power and she is learning how to deal with matters even though she doesn’t think so. It’s a fantastic series and already looking forward to the next one.

If youve read the first 3 books then this book won’t disapoint, story moves along just the same as the other the characters just keep getting better and so do the stories. Highly recommended and cant wait for more

Another book to leave me wanting the next one today.
Reds adventures and responsibilities are as usual unexpected and original

I’d read Violet Fenn’s retelling of the phone book tbh. She’s brilliant!

More weirdness, more history, a little mythology, a happy ending for some and sparkles of what is to come for others.
I enjoyed every second of this book, my only complaint is that it is too short. The story is well told and fully complete within the covers – no frustrating cliff hangers but it leaves me wanting to read the next installment immediately and alas that’s not to be.
On a side note, I appreciated the nod to Black Books and feel a binge coming on.

I recommend you read this book and enjoy the mix of real history and mythology which wraps up an engaging, entertaining and delightful story

Violet Fenn does it again. Book 4 of the Netherwierd series and it proved to be just as good as the first 3. If you’ve read the series, you’ll know the level of shenanigans Lilith is capable of and this book is a continuation of her, and others, adventures. Written with an eye to detail that transports the reader into the city of Liverpool which can be “seen”, even by those who have never been there. Now awaiting book 5.
