I am a budding photographer and before reading this book I thought I knew it all. But oh no, I am astounded by how packed with detail this book is. Hopefully Ahsan Abbas will be writing another book to continue the insightful and amazing instructions he has taught me.

A Rapid Introduction to Digital Photography

I was looking into starting photography as a complete novice and this book was perfect, it went into detail in all aspects seamlessly. I didn’t even know what a Megapixel was and it still covered it, recommend to any level.

Concise, detailed and to the point. The book takes the reader on a step by step journey on understanding their camera to then using it in different situations. The author defines technical jargon into palatable chunks making it much more worthwhile.

Ahsan Abbas’s photography is amazing, absolutely top class. He has a wealth of knowledge and to get an insight into his skills and knowledge in this book will get you going in no time. Thank you for sharing… it’s one of those books you wish you had brought when you first got into photography.

I love to capture wonderful moments and keep that magic anchored in my life. However I am not an expert and often with all the choices available I find it overwhelming to keep up with the technicalities of it. This book is amazing in this sense as it truly has everything in it from what to buy and what everything means to how to take perfect photos. I love it!!!
All I can say do grab a copy, even if you did not think about photography. You will enjoy it to say the least!
by William Piper
This book is like heaven on toast; words simply cannot describe the sheer brilliance of it. I’ll give you an example of the detail and depth each and every topic goes into in due course, however I really must make an attempt to explain the phenomenality of such a wonderpiece of a book. It is hard to comprehend how outstandingly amazing this book is, and some say it is profoundly beyond the understanding of humans to realise the sheer greatness.
Now, on to my evidence on how good this masterpiece is. Despite the typing error, the sentence: “The larger the sensor the bigger the pixels will be and the more light will be capture.” gripped me like a clamp on a clamp stand from the chemistry department and I could not put down the device I was reading it on from then on.
Ultimately, a truly excellently, expertly and ellegently crafted book with some simply astonishing accompanying photography.
All round fabulous – a must read!
