We all know what an amazing author TB is, this book is just another example of that.
I did guess the secret before it became too obvious…but the circumstances behind it, nope not a clue but….damn! Evil, twisted person alert!
Apart from the above mentioned evil character…I loved every single one of the characters. The book had me smiling almost all the way through.

TB needn’t feel nervous at writing by herself again as she still knows what she’s doing! This is a pretty traditional romance of rock star and rich girl Hannah happening upon cook and single mother Shelby in a small Tennessee diner. They chat, get to know each other a bit and then Hannah offers Shelby a job as her personal chef. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime but is Shelby brave enough to take the leap, whilst fighting her attraction to Hannah…
This didn’t have some of the intrigue of my favourite’s by TB (the misadventures of Lizzie, The Miracle Girl duo and The Chosen One duo) but she still held back a pretty big reveal until three quarters of the way through. Whilst that beloved lesfic chestnut of ‘’The break up before the make-up’ did happen in this, at least the angst didn’t stretch on too long or feel completely overloaded. It kept me turning the pages well past when I should have stopped for the night! Nicely done as usual by this author…

Hannah is a country singer who is sent to a spa because her manager wants her to lose weight before a big tour. Shortly after Hannah escapes and ends up in the diner Shelby works at.
I really enjoyed the book but hated that it followed the let’s break up towards the latter part of the book, as I’ve enjoyed TB (et al) more when there’s been a different way of sending the story. Still a very enjoyable read. And all the talk about TB going solo, what then are her Lizzie books? Love those.

Even though I love the collaborations with Miranda this is a great story. Well rounded characters and plenty of humour. Serious subject, cohesive abuse at the moment but very well described and dealt with. I loved Hannah, Shelby and Liam and all the characters on the periphery. Can we expect more music city. Hope so.

A great book by a talented author.
Whether by herself or with Miranda, T.B. has what it takes.
An amazing love story with happiness, sadness and a great ending.
Found it really hard to put down and then it was finished!
As usual pure perfection

This was an enjoyable read. Certainly got behind Shelby, Hanna and Liam. I too would have loved to see all the cities they got to travel to.

This is an amazing story, the theme is not very unique but so well written with so many wonderful details, feelings, emotions and real characters. The way T.B. Markinson writes is so well structured as she allows the reader to feel everything and be part of the story, this is what it makes the story unique. I fully enjoyed it. Thank you

An excellent read. Hannah and Shelby come from different worlds but their stories are similar! Parents have both been their crutch! It’s a slow burn romance that will keep you reading till the wee hours. At the end, I was in tears as I remembered my late mother telling me ‘aren’t the dandelions bonnie this year’ a memory significant with this book!
