I really liked the new 2024 doctor who annual, the story included in the annual is really good and makes you want to carry on reading. Also the pictures in this book are very nice and colourful, plus the new 2024 annual has some spoilers in it! But there is one negative I have to say about this book, there are some spelling mistakes and one fact was wrong I noticed. These are very minute issues but are slightly irritating to look at especially seeing as this is a brand new book and you would have at least thought they would have checked for spelling mistakes before releasing it.

The Doctor Who Official Annual 2024 is 64 pages, including the covers. It is packed with photos of all the actors who have played the Doctor and information on his greatest enemies. There is a text story by Steve Cole, which becomes a graphic story half way through, and various quizzes and games included. The annual is also an introduction to the new Doctor, after David Tennant’s return as the Fourteenth Doctor, and, personally, I cannot pronounce his name let alone ever remember it. Bizarrely, I was able to read the annual from cover to cover in less than two hours.
The purchase of this annual is purely to keep my annual collection complete after collecting all the annuals since the first one which featured the late William Hartnell in the role of the Doctor. The original annuals were published by World Distributors and, in my opinion, were far superior to the annuals now produced by BBC Children Books and published by Puffin. Ideal as a gift for a Doctor Who fan but expensive in respect of value for money.
