This is well made. It features photographs of real objects which is good for infants to get a grasp of what real things look like while constructing their understanding of the world. A couple of the puzzle pieces are a bit too tricky for the intended age group – the tomato and the ball, due to their shape, are a little too challenging I think. They have to be placed in exactly the right orientation which is a very subtle differentiation for such a small child. Otherwise I do like the size, sturdiness and the pieces seem to stand up well to being chewed on by teething babies.

Already have the numbers one and my 17 month old daughter loves it so thought I’d get her this one too. She’s very entertained by it and although she can already say most of the words it reinforces that learning and encourages other skills (problem solving, fine motor skills etc)
Very happy with my purchase!

Nice little product. However, that plastic wallet to keep puzzle pieces in is both sharp and impossible for a baby to open by themselves.

The simple structure and beautiful modern photography makes this baby book stand out from the others. There is only one image for page, making it easy for your child to focus and understand. The print reproduction quality is excellent with a thick opaque cover and shiny board pages – so even if your baby is still slobbering over everything (as mine is), it won’t make paper mush out of this book. I first ordered two (colours and words), but am now ordering the rest of the series. My baby is only 9 months old but is fascinated by the happy pictures and the book is chunky enough for him to hold on his own. These are books that even adults like to look at!
