On the 2nd book , really enjoying, well written.

My son is currently working through them. It’s a good series, interesting plot that builds into the last book which is the big finale.
The series opens straight into action, then pauses for a chapter of back story. There is a pattern to the books in which children take on the baddies without just calling the police, but then I’m reading as an adult. I know I loved this kind of adventure as a kid and my kids love it now. Who knows, if they’d just called the police maybe the big underlying plot would not have been possible to solve.

This book series is so good! Each book is very well written, the characters are amazing and I love to see each of their development through the series. I’ve just finished the last book and honestly cannot recommend these books more.

My 13 year old loved these books and finished the box set in a week! We watched the show on Netflix first, which we really enjoyed and this made my son want to read the books the show is based on. He says the books are even better than the TV series. He is now wanting to read more from the author.
