My son loves this, especially the history and insight to Messi’s life when he was younger. He’s only on chapter 17 at the moment but engrossed in it. In my son it is encouraging passion for the game, self belief, the realisation that effort has rewards and the joy of reading . A great gift for any child interested in soccer.

I bought the hardback version of this book and it was an excellent story of Messi’s life, facing hardships early on in his childhood, to becoming one of the most celebrated players in the worl with a record 8 ballon dor’s. Perfect for football fans. By Andrew age 10.

It’s fantastic, Messi at one point was the best footballer of alltime nd now be is in the top 10 currently (in my opinion).
The book shows that Messi hs worked harder than most professional footballers to achieve his dream. Five stars. 🙂
