These origami sheets are really pretty and perfect for folding origami Japanese dolls. The solid colour on the back indeed provides valuable contrast. The sheets are thin which are perfect for easy folding, but not so thin that they tear easily. However my slight disappointment is that they are completely smooth.
True Japanese origami paper tends to have some texture to it, particularly the kimono patterned ones. That said, these are very good value for money.

The prints are a bit darker than I would’ve wanted but paper folds well and my niece has loved using them for her origami projects.

I found only one problem. It was sorted in the very uncomfortable way: all sheets were mixed, so I was forced to sort it to place the same sheets together.

Used this to make a revealed flower. Nice paper can be tricky to see folds etc but worth it. My only complaint is the colours are a lot duller than advertised and some have more a washed out look to them as i was so looking forward to the brightness of colours as this is what got me to buy them. Going to try the kaleidoscope pattern from same makers next time and hope they are as bright they look.

Superb paper with really stunning patterns. Just perfect for me starting origami
