I purchased this to help support the children’s learning in my nursery setting when it was Chinese New Year. Being a Peppa pig boom, it kept the children’s attention and highlighted the important aspects of Chinese New Year which children were then able to recall.

We are big Peppa fans in our house and my daughters grandad-my dad, lives in China so it’s very appropriate. We also sent one over to one of his colleagues who loved it for her daughter

My son loves Peppa Pig and loves this story. The story gives you a basic understanding that family and good fortune, and the colour red are important to Chinese people.

This is a good book for children to learn about lunar new year culture. It’s similar to what my son actually did in his class to celebrate, they made lanterns, wore red and had a dragon parade come by each class. He was very excited when all of that happened in the book happened in his class.
