Very useful – the pieces in this book though are slightly more difficult than what you will face in the exam.
Some aspects are slightly different – these books do not emphasise dynamic variation enough which is likely to be more prevalent in the exam.

ABRSM’s Piano Sight-Reading Tests books include many little pieces which are challenging, yet not too hard for their respective grade. The Grade 5 book is no exception. A huge range of pieces with various tempos, key signatures and dynamics are in what is a fantastic book for Grade 5 pianists.
