I prefer this to Hart’s The Art of the Storyboard—the discussion of what a storyboard is for and how it should be developed is quite useful and applicable in multiple contexts.
That said, the book is rather self-indulgent, not merely USA-centric, but Hollywood-centric. It is made clear that the storyboard artists are the ones who carry all successful film productions on their strong shoulders. A too long chapter is spent on rambling unedited interviews with various storyboard artists.
It would have been useful with a deeper discussion of how to develop storyboards for video games, with their special requirements.

Easy to read and follow. A book for everyone even if they don’t have experience of drawing.

This book opened my eyes to more possibilities in telling story with my art. So much to learn, an amazing resource I can read over and over. My storyboards are looking stronger and more professional and my comics have a new fresh outlook. Totally recommended.
