What I do love about reading this LN series despite reading the WN is that it keeps surprising me but also adds little extra details you didn’t realise were missing from the WN. And it does it so seamlessly that it doesn’t feel out of place. Really looking forward to next volume.

The story of Hiro’s adventures continue. I’m not going to write a synopsis of the plot as it is a review not marketing. After reading this I went back and re-read books 1 to 6, must admit, I was surprised at the amount of foreshadowing I missed the first time. It was pretty cool to find as it is not normally something present in serialised books.
Unfortunately it could do with better editing and the translation can be off. Cierra became Sierra (makes more sense with the S) as an example. Some typos, repeating of the same sentence, worded slightly differently and the random insertion of words.
My biggest pet peeve? Ships. All ships are called battleships, but he still retains modern ship classes. Why is that annoying. Well think of it, a battleship is a type of battleship. So everything is a battleship, but you have small, medium and large battleships and then you have corvettes, destroyers, cruisers, carriers and battleships which are all, also battleships. Perhaps the translator confused 戦艦 and 軍艦 (senkan and gunkan) which I believe are Battleship and Warship, still learning Japanese so I may be wrong.
Due to this, Hiro’s Kirishima, description changes frequently between the novels as does it abilities and combat level.
I am still enjoying the series, sci-fi isekai is still quite rare and the characters are interesting. Poor Serena though, she seems to get grief for no reason but perhaps his outlook will change soon.
