This is an excellent resource for someone just wanting to get a grounding in Scottish dance. Including an introduction that tells you the basic history of Scottish dance, as well as explaining terminology and the basics of music choice and dance development, this excellent ‘little book’ contains a lot of information! Even if you’re approaching the subject with little or no grounding in the subject (like me!) you can clearly understand what’s being said and follow the dances described. An excellent resource for all those interested in Scottish dance!
