The SCRABBLE™ Junior Spelling Activity Book for ages 5-6 is a delightful blend of learning and fun, making spelling an enjoyable journey for young learners. The book is thoughtfully designed, with a range of activities that cater to different learning styles. The exercises are engaging, with a good mix of word searches, crosswords, and picture-word associations that keep children interested while reinforcing their spelling skills.
One of the highlights of this activity book is its alignment with the SCRABBLE™ brand, which many families are familiar with. This brings a sense of familiarity and excitement for kids who might already have had a taste of the classic board game.
However, while the book is packed with content, it might have been enhanced with some additional challenges or levels of difficulty for those kids who are a bit more advanced in their spelling journey. A few more interactive elements or stickers could also elevate the overall experience.

Fun, bright and engaging spelling activity book that includes some games rather than simple repetitive copying of words. Probably need more space to allow for this repetitive copying but otherwise, like the way it is set out.

I recently got the Scrabble Junior Spelling Activity Book for my 5-6-year-old, and it’s a great learning tool. It strikes a perfect balance between education and fun, with engaging activities like word searches and crosswords. The Scrabble connection adds excitement, but it could benefit from more advanced challenges.

This book is very good. Got it to help my 5 year old with her spelling. It’s easy for her to use and she really enjoys it. Asked me to get her another one.

There are a great set of spelling activites in here – it will keep a keen young one busy for a good while.
I’m not quite sure the Scrabble tie-in is needed or relevant for age group, though it is no doubt good marketing for whoever owns Scrabble!

Compared to a lot of these teaching/home practice books, this one is fantastic. It brings a lot more fun into the learning and helps kiddo apply the skills to games. He’s been trying to do puzzles like crosswords recently at restaurants when we’ve gone out and he’s had the kid packs, but they’re normally a bit too hard for him to work out. The ones in this book are a lot more his level and he’s really enjoying actually solving the puzzles. I don’t actually think he’s realised he’s learning things alongside the games.

This is a book filled with a variety of word puzzles targeted at kids aged 5-6.
There are crosswords, words to unscramble, gaps to fill in and clues to figure out.
There are lots of nice colours and pictures too.
I have not given five stars as I think there could be even more variety to make it more engaging.
