It’s a neat trick for a writer to retcon a huge twist into a central character!s backstory. Frank Miller pulled it off with Stick and Electra in Daredevil’s past. But Crane had a much harder job to do with Sienna’s marriage, to explain how dozens of books with first person narrative could have avoided mention of a missing husband. Hats off, Crane pulled it off in magnificent style and I bought every word. And the rest of the story, just astounding. One of the best books in the series.

The ultimate storyteller, this series has everything, strong characters, lots of fighting, laugh out loud moments, tearful moments, magic and even some politics. The fact I have now read 57 in this series should say it all.
