Easy to read and very informative – this book has helped me the most in trying to understand attachment disorder in children and I would recommend it to everyone doing the same – it’s about 100 pages long so it can be read quite quickly when you don’t have much time

Such a worthwhile read. Again summarising and making simples such a large topic. Love the stories and examples as feel I can really apply it to the relationship I have with my children and also other children! Thank you.

Great introduction into attachment, and brief enough to pick up the basics.

This book is the newest in her series of simple guides. It is an excellent introduction to attachment difficulties, written in an easy to digest and accessible form, minimising jargon helping the reader to reflect on not only the young person but themselves as an attachment influence and person with their own attachment history. Useful when working not only with children but also with adults as attachment is a lifelong ever changing story.

I love the bringing together of theories around trauma and attachment as sometimes this can be lost in other books and training.

Yet again she has written one of the best books in this subject, if you haven’t read any others I highly recommend you buy the series. I have a few copies of each I lend out.

I highly recommend this book they have changed the way I parent and also the way I work with young adults and children at work. I guarantee when you have read this book it will change the way you look at the world……….
