Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star: BSL (Sign & Singalong)
£4.70
Children are able to communicate by signing before they develop the skills necessary for speech. By teaching simple sign language to children from as young as eight months, we can help them to convey their emotions and their needs. When children begin to talk, having sign language to fall back on provides a comforting safety net. Add to the fun of signing by singing well-known nursery rhymes and songs. Even proficient speakers will long enjoy signing to a favourite song or rhyme. Simple and clear signing instructions allow anyone to join in.

This book is lovely, I have. Very frustrated baby so having used a similar technique wituy second child when he was a baby and having success I thought I’d go down the same street with baby three (yes three so I’m a little bit mad and a lot experienced in babies lol!) My baby is already enjoying this book. Her happy little face while were attempting it together would of been worth four times the price.

I believe it is important to teach toddlers how to sign when they are still trying to learn to talk. This helps to ward off frustrations in communication for them as well as for their carers! All of this set of Sign Singalong books is well done. Having signs for familiar songs really gets the attention of a little one and they start making the signs too!

A very simple book illustrating the nursey rhyme. Bright colourful illustrations. Could have more signing in it.
