This is a fab book with a detailed and insightful delve into the Victorians, good bits and bad bits alike. A bit like horrible histories, but really does have it all in one book.

Maybe the book is great but I received a used book from a library. With stickers from the library all around
The book is damaged inside and outside

So very pleased with purchase, perfect for my grandson as he is learning about the Victorian era at school. Many thanks!

this book came used from a library and I wasn’t Impressed although my daughter enjoyed the book.

This book has everything a child will love – easy text, lots of colours and pictures – so a great introduction to an interesting subject.
BUT it’s also £8.99 and it’s very very short at 32 pages cover to cover. So I’m not at all sure it’s great value. Perhaps I’m looking at it as an adult reviewing a children’s book but it really could do with more content.
Certainly worth a look though and a decent source of information to help children understand probably the most important period in modern British history.

Colourful and fun introduction to the Victorians in the vein of Horrible Histories. Covers people, events, and culture in an enagaging style.Text is easy enough for a nine-year-old to read but still full of enough quirky facts to appeal to my thirteen-year-old.
