  • A Secret For My Ex-Husband: A Second Chance, After Divorce, Secret Baby Romance

    01

    “Boss. Welcome to freedom.”
The door opens, and I sit down in the comfortable seat, breathing in the scent of the expensive interior.
It is hard to believe that prison has finally let me go.
“Did you get the file on my ex-wife?I want to know what she’s been doing. Where she lived. Who she talked to. Who she slept with. Everything.”
Mark nods and hands back a folder.
I open it and start flipping through it.
Well, hello, Agatha. Did you miss me? If not, I’m sorry, because I missed you very much.
My eyes run over the lines. I’m ready to devour her photograph until I stumble upon the words that make my heart miss a beat.
“It says here she has a child. How old?”
“Six and a half, Mr. Maddox. Looks just like you.”

Seven years ago, I pushed her away to protect her. Seven years I paid for a crime I didn’t commit. Seven years she lived her perfect life… and hid my son from me. But now I’m back. And I will take back everything that belongs to me—

    My life.

    My son.

    My woman.

Even if she hates me for it.

  • God’s Homecoming: The Forgotten Promise of Future Renewal

In Surprised by Hope, Tom Wright transformed how millions understood life after death – showing that authentic Christian hope isn’t about “going to heaven,” but about “heaven coming to earth” in the new creation.

Now, in God’s Homecoming, world renowned theologian Tom Wright takes this vision a step further. Through a powerful exploration of Paul’s letters and the Hebrew prophets, he reveals that biblical hope is not limited to individual salvation, but the renewal and reconciliation of all creation. At the heart of this hope is the promise that the Creator God will return to dwell among his people, filling the whole world with his glorious, healing presence.

Wright’s in depth reading of Scripture reframes our understanding of grace, showing that Christianity is not about escaping the world but about God’s initiative to restore it. When we stop asking, “How can I get to heaven?” and instead grasp God’s desire to come and dwell with us, in us, and through us, we rediscover the true depth of the gospel: a story suffused with love, renewal, and divine purpose.

A profound follow-up to Surprised by Hope, God’s Homecoming is essential reading for anyone interested in Christian theology, biblical studies, the afterlife, and the hope of resurrection, as well as fans of Tom Wright (NT Wright).

  • Death in a Green Room: A 1920s Murder Mystery (The Maeve Morgan Historical Cozy Mystery Series Book 10)

Bad acting is forgivable. Murder is not!

Strathfulton Castle is many things—ancient, imposing, and never dull for long—but when a troupe of temperamental London actors descends upon the estate, even Maeve Morgan isn’t prepared for the drama that follows.

What begins as a harmless rehearsal for a touring production quickly spirals into real-life tragedy when a celebrated actress collapses in the castle’s green room. At first, it looks like theatrical excess gone too far. But Maeve, former police officer turned reluctant countess, knows the difference between make-believe murder and the real thing, and this is most definitely the latter.

With the police frustratingly absent, Maeve finds herself navigating a castle full of oversized egos, secret grudges, and actors who all seem to be performing even when the curtain is down. As tensions rise and another death shocks the household, it becomes chillingly clear that someone is rewriting the script—and they’re not done yet.

Surrounded by poison pens, prop daggers, and a company where everyone has a motive and no one is entirely trustworthy, Maeve must uncover the truth before the final act claims yet another victim.

Witty, atmospheric, and delightfully twisty, Death in a Green Room is a classic British cozy mystery packed with sharp dialogue, theatrical intrigue, and a heroine who proves that murder is far harder to conceal than bad acting.

Perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, golden-age mysteries, and British TV dramas where secrets lurk behind every polite smile—and the deadliest performances happen offstage.

  • SS Kommando: Hitler’s Special Forces in the Second World War (The Third Reich’s Shadow Forces Book 1)

The secret war of Germany’s elite commandos — a gripping account of sabotage, espionage, and survival in World War Two.

For readers of James Owen, Peter Young, James Lucas and Franz Kurowski.

The SS Kommandos and their forerunners, the Brandenburgers — led by Admiral Canaris and later Otto Skorzeny — fought their war in the shadows of Europe for six years. During this time, they battled and plotted behind enemy lines across three continents and dozens of countries. Their clandestine activities undoubtedly changed the course of history.

Often overlooked in favour of the perhaps better-known British Special Forces or American Rangers, the Kommandos were, in fact, the first military units to embrace and utilise such an unconventional style of warfare. In this book, author Charles Whiting presents a thorough account of the men and the operations they undertook during the war years, using first-hand interviews with the remaining survivors — including Skorzeny himself. The result is a vivid, personal account of ordinary men, both heroes and victims of the German war machine, engaged in a deadly struggle for survival.

The daring and complexity of some of the SS Kommando operations is truly staggering and includes the 1943 rescue of deposed dictator Benito Mussolini from under the noses of the Italians in the mountains; the 1944 kidnapping of the son of the Regent of Hungary to keep that country in the war against the Allies; and the theft of a large quantity of diamonds in South Africa to sabotage Britain’s war effort. Brutally efficient and often disregarding the rules of war, these men seized strategic targets, captured key bridges, engaged in espionage and sabotage, and would ultimately influence the development of special forces around the world.

This book is a compelling read for anyone interested in Kommando operations throughout World War Two — the men involved, their leaders and rivals under the Führer, and the desperate tactics employed in the face of defeat.

He died suddenly during the early morning of 6th November, 1934, having given a radio talk for the B.B.C. on Social Credit the evening before, apparently in good health.

Orage wrote wrote fifteen short Psychological Essays in the 1920s. They encompass such subjects as thought power and mental development, dealing with dark moods, the relationship between thought, feeling and body, the importance of active curiosity, observation, and so on. Sharp, ambitious, and brilliant in the courtroom, she was meant for a life far from the streets her father, Colm Byrne, ruled with fear and favours. But when a violent triad war leaves Colm fighting for his life and the Byrne firm exposed, Ruby is dragged into a world she thought she’d escaped – and quickly proves she’s more dangerous than anyone ever imagined…

    Ruby Rising

Hackney’s underworld has a new queen and she’s not here to play nice. After the death of notorious gangland boss Colm Byrne, his daughter Ruby steps up to the throne. Sharp as broken glass and twice as dangerous, Ruby isn’t just fighting to keep her father’s legacy alive, she’s reshaping it in her own ruthless image.
But the streets are watching. Rivals are circling. And inside her own house, betrayal runs deep…

    Ruby Rules

Ruby Byrne took Hackney’s underworld by the throat. But everything changed the day she became a mother. Now, with a four-year-old child to protect and a growing empire, she must play a new kind of game—one with higher stakes and fewer rules.
But the East End doesn’t forget. And it doesn’t forgive…

The first three novels of the Legacy Series are perfect for fans of Martina Cole, Kimberly Chambers and Jessie Keane.

Explosive, emotional, and laced with betrayal, The Legacy Series is a hard-hitting saga of family, vengeance, and a woman who will do whatever it takes to protect what’s hers.

  • Enough Said

20 September. Have a notion for a radio series – Awkward Conversations.

Enough Said is Alan Bennett’s fourth collection of diaries and prose. Covering the turbulent years 2016 to 2024, the diaries take us through lockdown, Brexit, the reign of Johnson, the rise of Trump and the death of the Queen. In between, we take the train with him back and forth to Yorkshire, celebrate the herons, the newts and the street fairs, and lament the scarcity of curlews, the closure of the last local bank and the deteriorating welfare state. There is the premiere of Allelujah!, the revived Talking Heads, the publication of two Sunday Times bestsellers and the filming of The Choral.

2024 is the year that Alan turns ninety; he reflects on old age and the importance of luck. He looks back to childhood and recalls an idyllic wartime month as an evacuee. A book for the bedside, this is poignant, funny, contemplative Alan Bennett, as he records life both personal and political in his most distinct of voices.
