Shen’s writing is known for its emotional depth and complex character development and Wildest Dreams is no exception. This was an incredible work from Shen and an amazing addition to this current series.
She explores themes of trust, healing, and the narrative is rich with passion and introspection, drawing readers into the characters’ emotional turmoil. It’s full of angst, sarcasm and some of the best intelligent character dialogue you will ever read.
Rhyland is portrayed as a confident and self-assured individual, while Dylan is depicted as strong yet vulnerable. Their interactions are marked by tension and chemistry, making their journey from enemies to lovers intense.
This is not a book you want to swipe past. Shen has an innate ability to create stories that resonates with readers, offering a tales of loves that are both forbidden and unforgettable.

Loved Rhyland and Dylan. Ryland is so funny how he interacts with Gravity (little stinker), and Dylan is such a good role model for her daughter. You will love all the characters in this book. Looking forward to the next book!

t between mum and daughter was great as well as the determination for success with Rhylands App. I was impressed with the pace and convincing plot between Tucked and Dylan, although I was angry at Kieran for trying to get him back into Dylans life. I want to read Gate’s story next.

I absolutely loved Rhy and Dylan’s book.
They are a match made in a totally dysfunctional world and it works.
Fake dating was never going to work for them there was too much of the feels and we definitely got all the feels.
I loved Rhy, he may have been a cold hearted man-whore, but that heart soon started to thaw, and then there was no going back. He was all in for Dylan, and Gravity.
Bring on Tate, I sure hope it’s Gia that is going to bring him to his knees. This dudes already wracking up what he needs to redeem himself from and he needs to grovel!

Their story is heartbreakingly beautiful. The angst, the tension, the chemistry—even their toxic moments—were so intense and addicting. I’m actually at a loss for words trying to describe how much I loved this book. There’s just something about L.J. Shen’s writing that hits differently every time.
Wildest Dream wrecked me emotionally—in the best way. I laughed, I giggled, I cried, I felt heartbroken, I smiled, I screamed… I FELT everything. It was a full-on emotional rollercoaster. (And here i’m actually sad had to finally part with Rhyland and Dylan 😢).
I might be running out of words, only because I’m truly speechless. But no doubt—this is hands down my favorite and most recommended book of the year so far. It’s completely addictive, and I literally could not put it down.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The hate between Rhyland and Dylan crackled with fiery tension, and the chemistry? Off. The. Charts. The banter was bantering, the steam was steaming, and the romance?
Freaking phenomenal! LJ Shen certainly knows how to write one heck of a romance.
This book has everything — top-tier tropes, unforgettable characters, and writing that pulls you in and refuses to let go. It’s one of those stories you’ll devour in one sitting and think about for days after.
If you love enemies-to-lovers, sizzling tension, and a romance that hits you right in the feels, Wildest Dreams is a must-read! August cannot come sooner, I can’t wait to see Tate loose control over his obsession. I just know his book is going to be next level brilliant!

This book is really well written, and I was so happy to read Dylans story because in the first book we could see so much love between the Casablanca siblings.
I love how much Dylan and Rhyland evolve through the pages. In the beginning there is banter, but its still this “I hate you, but”- vibe. They don’t want to help each other even if that’s the only way to save the day.
I was glad that the story is written from both POVs (Dylan and Rhyland) in the first person. It helps a lot to get into their heads, feelings and fears. And there’s a lot going on in this story, but it still is a wonderful written enemies to fake fiancés to friends to lovers. You get it.
I felt deeply for both as I could their inner motivations and fears and curveballs. The single mom’s feelings are on point and very accurate (not only single moms feel that by the way) but I was very invested in this love story because I was really touched deep and everything made sense (to me).
I truly and absolutely love the message exchanges. (Laughing out loud in the most impropriate moments – sorry not sorry).
Conclusion:
Do you remember that childhood/teenage crush you had but never forgot? But then started to hate? Or do you simply like books of forbidden love? Like your brother’s best friend? Then this might be your pick because I felt for them.

I thought these two were perfect for each other. Learning Rhyland’s story seeing his maturity evolve. His protectiveness for Gravity. Dylan, her tough strong nature. Throw in a few plot twists. Its a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the well anticipated second book in this series and it was definitely wild. Ryland Coltridge is unapologetically himself, with everyone. He doesn’t form attachments, other than Row, a side effect of his history from disappointment and abandonment. The only person he truly loved was untouchable.
Dylan is definitely a strong fmc and relies on no one but herself. She’s loved Ryland since she was a girl but life is complicated.
It took me a while to get into this book but it was definitely funny. Not sure I enjoyed all the full on s@# talk but it was true to Ry character. I loved his relationship with Gravity.
I’m not a fan of Tate but can’t wait to see the woman that brings him to his knees.

Another cracker of a story. Dylan is a fierce single mom to her daughter Gravity, but she has major trust issues and full of self doubt. When her brother Row asks her to house sit his apartment in New York, it ties in with his best friend Rhyland trying to roll out his new app. Rhyland’s backer Bruce sees him assisting Dylan and Gravity into the apartment building and assumes they are together. A whole lot of heartbreak, heated and tearful moments occur. Great story, really loved all the characters.
