The Logical Girl’s Guide to Mating with a Werewolf (Mate Hunted Book 5)
I made a plan to get mated to a werewolf for my own safety—and nearly got myself killed.
Apparently, shifting isn’t easy for everyone. Me, being everyone.
After I narrowly survive becoming a wolf, I have to marry this man I barely know.
But he’s funny.
And thoughtful.
And yes, I’m starting to like him more with every minute we spend together.
I know there’s no way out now, but honestly?
I’m starting to think that this connection between us really was decided by fate
*This is a short, spicy romantic novella with a happily ever after

I lone novellas, short sweet and always love. And werewolves they are the best ones. I really like the feral pack too!

I’ve loved the previous books in this series and loved being back in the mate hunt world but unfortunately this book was a dull read. The best part were Zoe interacting with her friends from the previous books, but her and Connor as characters and relationship was a bland mess. None of the fun from the previous books, none of the feeling from the world. I guess part of it is my personal preference where some of the mating elements were changed intentionally by the author, but also from how the book lacked any sense of closure both of her family problems and her career. I didn’t feel Connor had any strong feelings or instincts and neither did Zoe. The hint of ”praising dynamic” alluded to made me cringe and there were almost none of the wolf interactions. When rereading the mate hunt series I have one of the original books I skip over and this will be another I’m afraid. I still love the series but just not this one.

Quick and easy read. Very low angst and minimal spice.
I would have loved it a bit longer with further expanded scenes.

Another great story from Lola. I’m never disappointed when reading a story from Lola but I hate when they finish. I can’t wait to read the next book xx.

Again Lola Glass has come up with a good story, all the emotions are there, love, fear, self doubt and longing, all brought together masterfully, oh, and a happy ending.

Another lovely fantastically fun romantasy novella by Lola Glass following another from the “Feral Pack”. Lola’s stories are always so well written with humour, banter, romance and human nature (worries, insecurities, etc causing problems) and this one is no different. It’s full of drama, wonderful characters with brilliant chemistry, second chance at love, friendships, sexy wolf shifters with trauma in their pasts, heaps of humor, another cake, cheeky banter and spice💖. Again, I couldn’t put down and would strongly recommend.
For a change in this one the FMC, Zoe, is being honest that she wants to be mated to a werewolf (and marry him). All her friend group are pairing with them so there’s a strong chance she’ll be the mate of another of the males; and she needs to get out of a contract with her parents; so she agrees to go to the book club meeting just not knowing who’s eyes might turn red (I loved the book mention “Burning Kingdom” series as that was the first by Lola that I’d read).
I glanced at him. “He doesn’t hate me for it.”
His eyes narrowed.
“If he doesn’t hate you for it, he’s probably excited,” Emmy said. “I think Connor and Ethan both wanted mates.”
I narrowed my eyes back, just for the hell of it.
His lips curved slightly.
“Maybe,” I said.
“That’s a yes. What else does your plan involve?”
Connor was sure she would reject him just as his first had so is taken by surprise when he realises that she’d been planning it. Zoe’s a fun girl who plans for everything, but she’s feeling guilty for trapping him and her wolf has no problems with not keeping him in sight. Connor enjoys peace and photography, and just wants to support his pack and friends. They work so well together this was a delight to read; and I can’t wait for the next to see how light-hearted Ethan and Maya do.

Opened to read this as soon as it published! I like that this one was slightly different than the first 4 since she actually wanted a mate. The story was cute and I loved their dynamic. I can’t wait for book 6!

That’s what comes to mind after reading this one. Who among us doesn’t over think ever darn thing at some point or another. I love the saying, “hang on while I overthink this” it really resonates. I think it does for Zoe too. While it some might think it’s oversimplified, I found it so reassuring that Connor was her safe place. From the start. He was just here for it all. Here for her, here for the ride. Here for her shifting needs. All of it. Like a champ.

This is the first time that the FMC wanted to be mated, and makes a refreshing change. To be honest, I’m surprised it didn’t crop up earlier, because honestly, who doesn’t want a hot wolf who is devoted to you! Zoe is funny, straight forward, likeable and determined. Conner is hiding and all he wants is quiet and no drama. He is there for his pack, but is not actively looking for change.
The one thing I can rely on in Lola’s books is great banter, and she delivers in this book. It is funny but serious and so very compelling.
This is another enjoyable read!

Another fabulous addition to the girl’s guide series. A very different storyline to the other girls. Our FMC is wanted to be mates to save her life. Her mate, rejected but not hurt as his pack. Unsure but keen to be loved.
Great writing and storyline. Easy to read and devoured.

I’m loving this series of mate hunted novellas, they’re perfect short quick reads that are entertaining and fun. This time it’s Zoe and Connor’s story, Zoe tags along to the packs book club hoping to attract a werewolf mate and as soon as her eyes meet Connor’s and the mate bond triggers she runs, all part of her plan to get mated to and married to escape her parents arranged marriage to a man much much older than her.
I enjoyed this book it’s a fun, fast paced, easy read quick reads, and I can’t wait for the next one!.

A fast-paced swoon-worthy romantic read.
Zoe wanted to be mated to a Werewolf, she just didn’t know which one it would be until her eyes connected with Connors.
Connor was more than ready to connect to his mate; he had doubts but he didn’t need to worry as Zoe was all in with their relationship.
A fun read as we see how these two connect, the sizzle is there, the chemistry is there, the romance is there with super fantastic friends in the group. What more can you ask for?
This is a fun read with lots of entertainment and a great addition to the series.
