Clare Ashton has done it again. Absolutely stolen my breath with such a wonderful story from the Oxford Romance series.
Clare’s ability to weave so much love, desire and wit through her characters is quite frankly unparalleled. The tapestry of relationships are rich, as usual, Clare has brought all the characters together, the main characters held by the supporting roles of their family and friends. Each character envelops you like a warm familiar hug.
And that Christmas morning. It was like watching a Christmas comedy unfold. Just brilliant.
I pray that this is not the last of the Oxford bunch!

OMG!!! Clare Ashton did it again! This is an incredible gift for those who loved her Oxford series- my favorite from all the romance books I’ve read! As one good friend of mine said when she was reading it yesterday ‘It’s like a warm hug from old friends’ and although Discovering Nicola is my favorite, Kate is my favorite character of this series! So this novella was perfect!

I love love love the Oxford Romance series by Clare Ashton and was so excited when I saw this novella announced.
Olivia has been one of my favourite characters throughout so I was so happy this story was centred around her and Kate. It’s short, it’s festive and it’s lovely. Perfect on a winter TBR!
I recommend this to anyone who loves a lighthearted WLW read!

A wonderful and very satisfying addition to Clare Ashton’s Oxford Romance series. Once again the development of the characters is beautifully nuanced with an understanding of human vulnerability and resilience. I wondered how Olivia would handle motherhood and now I know. Thank you Clare Ashton for this unexpected gift. Can we have another novella but this time continuing the Geeta/Nicola story?

This was such a cute little festive addition to the Oxford Romance series. Getting a glimpse of Olivia and Kate’s relationship progress against the backdrop of a Christmassy Oxford was an absolute delight. It’s made me want to read the whole series again!
