T.L. Swan’s His Christmas List is a festive romance collection that blends emotion, intrigue, and character-driven storytelling. Featuring a mix of new short stories, previews of upcoming novels, and familiar worlds, this collection offers readers a well-rounded glimpse into Swan’s writing while maintaining a cohesive holiday tone throughout.
“Alaskan Jack” follows Holly after she’s left stranded by a car accident and unexpectedly rescued by the mysterious Alaskan mountain man, Jack. The story combines romance and survival elements with ease, creating a strong foundation that would translate beautifully into a full-length novel.
In “The Christmas Angel,” Zoe’s chance meeting with a police officer after a flat tyre leads to a meaningful connection that quietly unfolds into something more. This story leans into warmth and emotional growth, making it a fitting holiday romance.
“The Bonus” revisits Ferrara Media, centring on Grace, a personal assistant navigating her feelings for Gabriel, the company’s head. The story explores the tension between professional ambition and personal desire in a way that feels grounded and emotionally satisfying. (Originally released August 13, 2024.)
“The Expert” introduces Elizabeth, who hires professional chaperone Thomas to assist her during an important business deal. Their dynamic brings humour and charm, with a tone that suggests strong potential for expansion into a full-length novel.
In “The Heart You Kept,” Alora travels to an exclusive Swiss resort to complete a bold bucket-list challenge alongside a mysterious stranger over a limited timeframe. The pacing and intrigue keep the story engaging, leaving readers eager for more.
“You Wish” follows Emma and Aaron, whose first encounter at an airport quickly turns complicated. Forced proximity, miscommunication, and a later reconnection give this story an emotional arc that feels complete and rewarding.
“Brunetti” transports readers to Italy, where Halle, on a work exchange, becomes entangled with the close-knit Brunetti family. A surprising twist involving identical twins introduces emotional tension and sets the stage for future drama.
Rounding out the collection, “A Forever Kind of Kiss” centres on Andrew, a widowed father balancing work and family responsibilities, who unexpectedly crosses paths with the guarded and driven Mabel Harrington. Their opposites-attract dynamic and the author’s choice to offer two possible endings add a unique element to the story.
Overall, His Christmas List is a generous and well-structured romance collection that showcases T.L. Swan’s range while teasing several upcoming releases. Readers who enjoy interconnected worlds, character-focused romance, and holiday-themed stories will find plenty to enjoy here.

This is always a favorite book read and it’s a must read. This was my annual read of the book. I love the stories and all the different characters. I love that some of the stories are either have been developed into a full novel or being made into one because I love all of the stories.

I’ve bought and read this book since the first one was released, I think in 2022. I love all of the short Christmas stories. My favourites this year (although I love them all!) include Alaskan Jack, The Christmas Angel, You Wish and the new story for this year, A Forever Kind of Kiss. I didn’t read The Heart You Kept or Brunetti this time around as I want to wait until the full books are out. I’d only get my hopes up to read them and want the rest of the story if I did and I’d prefer to wait it out instead! I have loved Tee’s books since I first stumbled across The Stopover. Her books make me laugh, cry and feel everything in between. This book of short Christmas stories is no different. I urge everyone to read it! They make me feel good and give me that bit of relaxation before a somewhat stressful period. I can’t wait to read them again soon.

As usual I am re-reading the entire book and just finished Edward’s story and still do not like him, I thought after a year my opinion would change but it didn’t, so I guess I just have to wait for either Valentinos or Thomas Stones book. OKay, I finished and the last story A Forever Kind Of Kiss, I did not like at all, this book did not seem at all like a T L Swan book, the writing was all over the place, chapter storylines had no closure, and neither character was very likable, she is very nasty and he has no self-esteem and the So here is a suggestion, please do write a full story about this book and maybe just delete it from future books and I fogot the 3 year-old talks like she is a teenager so annoying

I absolutely loved rereading these gorgeous stories that we get each year with a new one added along with the others. Really puts a smile on my face & excited to read anything of TLSwan. Her stories always inspire me to do a reread of her other books. Can’t wait to see what Brunetti gives us.

My new favourite Christmas tradition ♥️

This is a selection of short stories that T adds to each year and oh boy! What a hot story it was this year!
The heart you kept is that story. A young woman completing her late best friends bucket list and an overpowering Alpha make who takes advice from his therapist. They both end up in a kinky hotel resort, where they are paired together for one night. That night was so damn hot it leads them to enjoy a second night. After their hot and dirty weekend, they go their separate ways but so many questions are unanswered between them. Will they ever cross paths again?
I bloody hope so!! Their story will be T’s next full length novel and I really can’t wait.
If your considering this collection for the first time then your going to live each story. Some are already full length books and some haven’t quite made it yet but I recommend anything this Author writes, she writes from the heart, she’s truly magical.

Loved these short stories by TL Swan. I couldn’t resist but read a little of The Heart You Kept and am really excited to read it when it is released in May 2026. Alaskan Jack is my favorite Christmas read. Would love more from The Expert too. All stories are worth that read as all are enjoyable
