Bought this for a year 7 student who was struggling to understand the basics, and utilise what was already learnt and known. It is indeed targeted and I could see measurable difference in understanding and application following this. I did use it along with some other books bought at the same time. And it took us a good 3-6 months working at slow pace of few hours a week to get there.

New curriculum. Helps your child with grammar. Really happy and so is my daughter. Recommended by her teacher.

Already had the first edition but decided to get this because if the new curriculum. It’s good, but not as good as the first edition. I like the fact that the language has been updated to reflect the new terms used in the classroom but they’ve removed some useful content. E.g. the section on plurals has been reduced to one page. More detailed explanations should have been given for the perfect and progressive forms of verbs: content is sketchy due I think to space constraints

I find these books very useful for home learning. This does have the answers included in the booklet.
